Dancing Data: Telling a Data Story Through Animation

Over the past few months, we have been exploring animation as a new way to present data. As we all know, we’re living in a world overrun by information. One of our challenges at Global Advantage is to bring the most important information to light for our clients and animation is another effective way to do just that.

With the Federal Government’s push towards a new Innovation Agenda, number two on their list of six areas for action is Global Science Excellence – Canadian science capabilities and research infrastructure become among the best in the world. One of the questions that’s being asked is “How can colleges play a larger role in the innovation ecosystem?” Which leads us to our next animation on Canada’s Applied Research results.

This animation was embedded as part of CICan’s ecosystem map presentation at their annual meeting in Quebec City this past May. There is so much potential and lots of capacity for Canadian Applied Research.
