Hi everyone! My name is Sanjeev and I’m very excited to begin my role as a Research Analyst with Global Advantage Consulting Group this summer, and I am looking forward to working with the team on issues that have real impact to Canadians and the economy.
Originally from India, I moved to Canada in 2017 to pursue my undergraduate studies in Economics and Finance. Today I am completing my Master’s Degree in Economics at the University of Ottawa, where I gained an interest in Environmental Economics and Trade.
My hobbies include travelling and seeing new places. I’ve visited several interesting locations while living in Canada. I also like to play soccer, work out, hike, and cycling to stay fit. Moreover, I love to stay up-to-date on climate and trade policy and informed on current events.
One of the key reasons I chose Global Advantage for my CO-OP work term is because of the important work they do in providing strategies and plans using a data-driven approach to help organizations make decisions. I believe that by working with this team, I will be able to help deliver value insights to Global Advantage’s clients and learn about the industry in which they operate. This will be critical to my career after I complete my studies. I hope I can learn as much as possible during my time here.
