Global Advantage Consulting Group was pleased to participate in the Global Progress 2017 Summit, hosted by Canada 2020 in Montreal, Quebec, earlier this month.
The Global Progress Summit is an “annual gathering of progressive organizations, think-tanks, and thought-leaders from around the world to meet and discuss best-practices in progressive governance” (Canada 2020, 2017). Following the keynote speech by Prime Minister Justin Trudeau, the conference featured an outstanding line-up of speakers including Quebec Premier Philippe Couillard, Minister of Environment and Climate Change Catherine McKenna, Huffington Post co-founder and former editor and chief Arianna Huffington, Reddit co-founder and CEO Steve Huffman, LinkedIn Executive Chairman and co-founder Reid Hoffman, and International Rescue Committee President and CEO David Miliband.
We were delighted that Canada 2020 made Towards an Inclusive Innovative Canada available to all participants at the Global Progress 2017 Summit. The book published earlier this spring and includes a chapter written by our president and CEO, David Watters, “What is Innovation and How Do We Measure It?”
