We will be mapping PTAC’s (Petroleum Technology Alliance Canada) research projects and its activities that facilitate innovation, collaborative research and technology development, as well as demonstration and deployment in support of a responsible Canadian hydrocarbon energy industry. This will include key PTAC research areas (improving oil and gas recovery, reducing capital, operating and related costs, improving value-added products, and managing environmental impacts, etc.) and technology and knowledge networks. The Map will show connections to: the private sector; provincial and federal governments; universities/colleges and other research institutions; international organizations; and potential technology transfer to other sectors.
The PTAC Research and Innovation Ecosystem Map will demonstrate PTAC’s value both strategically and economically to Canada’s hydrocarbon energy industries, as well as to the Canadian economy.
