Welcoming Fresh Faces to the Team

Global Advantage Consulting Group gladly welcomes aboard Mark Schacter and Daniel Katz to our team.

Mark SchacterMark has over 20 years of consulting and training experience in performance measurement, strategy development, governance, risk assessment and program evaluation. He has worked with a wide range of clients in Canada’s federal and provincial governments, as well as multilateral organizations such as the European Commission, the International Labour Office and the World Bank. He has published extensively on issues in public management.

In addition to his wealth of experience in strategy development and consulting, Mark is also an accomplished photographer.

Mark holds an MBA from the University of Ottawa, and LL. B. from Oxford University and a BA from Yale University.

Daniel is a research analyst who comes from a background in Journalism and Communications. He previously worked for Postmedia News Network reporting on national park issues in Banff National Park. Prior to that, he covered federal politics for the Ottawa Citizen’s parliamentary bureau, along with local arts and entertainment for several online publications.

He also has experience developing communications strategies for the private sector, including comprehensive communications plans for cannabis production SMES following legalization.

Daniel holds a BA from Carleton University along with a Diploma and Graduate Diploma from Algonquin College.

We know both Mark and Daniel will be great contributors to GACG’s projects, and will provide excellent additional insights and vision to our organization.
